Ah Manchester. A stunning city close to my heart. Call me blasphemous but it’s practically a better version of London.
I lived in Manchester for 5 years between 2012-2017. I studied psychology, alongside perfecting my craft. Manchester is where I fell in love with photography.
I defined my style as a documentary Asian wedding photographer, and have continued along that path ever since.
Manchester has an abundance of Asian wedding venues, and I’ve been fortunate to get a taste of them. The likes of Midlands Hotel, Nawaabs, Nunsmere and more. It’s essential to be comfortable and relaxed on your wedding day (you’d be surprised how many people aren’t). That’s why I’ll come to venue beforehand, and scout the lighting, the angles, look for areas to take private shots.
I’ve been through countless weddings, at enormous venues, with 1000’s of guests. If there’s a problem on the day, you’re getting more than just a photographer; an event planner, a decorator, and you’re most certainly making a friend.
“Certainly Manchester is the most wonderful city of modem times.” -Benjamin Disraeli
My Asian wedding photography is candid and natural. I don’t take posed shots, I will however do all the necessary group shots. If it’s posed shots I’d be very happy to point you in the right direction, to a photographer who will match with you better.
Either way, let’s chat, gossip about your in-laws, and start planning your wedding.
